Leek
Features: This vegetable belongs to the lily family and is typically consumed from the beginning of autumn to spring, and used in soups, creams, purées; however, it can be found and eaten during the rest months of the year. It is mainly composed of water, and has a high content of potassium (good for muscle activity). It is also rich in vitamin C, contributing to iron absorption and improving our immune system.
